Advent Wreath

As a child during Christmas time I couldn't wait to be asked to light a candle on our church's Advent wreath.


I remember one year I got to light all five candles and I was so excited! Our current church does not celebrate with the advent wreath so we've decided to celebrate with it at home. We've started it a week late, but it'll still be a meaningful way to get ready for Christmas. I think that tomorrow we will make this craft with the kids, but we will use toilet rolls to make the candles stand up. "Help us to be ready to welcome you. O God!" Luke 3:4-6
