Where is home?

Lately I have been thinking about moving to a new house. I love our current house but it doesn't have what we need for a growing family. When we first looked at this house we looked at it through the eyes of a couple, not a mommy and daddy. We need bigger closets, more conviniently placed bedrooms, and a huge flat yard. So then I find myself thinking about buying a house with land. Ten years ago, gosh three years ago I would have never thought that, ever. Funny how you change as you get older or maybe more complacent. I still feel as though I am a New Yorker at heart and would move there if we could afford to live there like we do here. I miss my old friends, the culture, the weather..I always find myself saying "I love N.Y. in the fall" or "There's nothing like Christmas in the N.Y". I realize that I've said something similar about every season. Especially summer in Central Park. See? I did it again. I think I would miss the sea of orange during football season and the smell of sausages at Dollywood even though I never get one! For now Tennessee is home. I guess I'll just have to be patient and enjoy my visits to N.Y. unitl I return for good; if I ever do.

I have always wanted to visit N.Y.C.... It just always seems, (ya know, in the movies!)so romantic, so different, so cool. One of these days, I will get to go and have the experience. But I can see,( from afar) your love affair with N.Y. We would surely miss you guys here!
